There is no better way to end off the year and ring in the new one than with the grand opening of the much anticipated Butter Avenue pâtisserie & café. I’m sure that by now you all know how much I LOVE macarons. They are bite sized little pieces of heaven. The lovely people at Butter Avenue have got it down to perfection, and I’m not just saying that because the owners are good friends of mine. Tina along with her brother Calvin have opened up a this little pastry shop by Yonge and Lawrence area (3467 Yonge St. Toronto ON. M4N 2N3). I had the pleasure to attend their grand opening where macarons were flying off the shelves, especially sea salt caramel ones. Drop by if you are in the area or if you’re looking for a different, yet classy dessert to bring to a dinner party. Oh, and they also would make perfect ‘guest favours’ for a wedding.
