Sound of a shower, light through the blinds, warm blankets… Wake up! I opened my eyes realizing that it’s Monday and it’s time. Head is clear but not a single creative, artsy thought. Uh oh! I always have ideas for Monday posts, but today there was nothing… Slight panic set in, and I looked through my “inspiration” folder, NOTHING. Hmmmm… flipped through numerous notes scattered on the table. “Great… what am I going to [heart] today?” Thick heavy card in hand that I picked up at Nuit Blanche this weekend. I ran my fingers across it. Felt nice. “Letterpress. I love letterpress. What am I going to write?” Paper… letterpress… “I wish my cards were letterpress… “
And thats how today’s blog post was born, from being uninspired and loving letterpress. Nice heavy paper and luxurious print are things kept for special occasions. Letterpress and weddings is a traditional match up, but letterpress and robots is a fun loving couple. So robots it is! How cute are these?
