Have I told you that I looooove lists? I have a list for everything: list for food, list for music, list for work, list for books, list for flavours of ice cream, well, maybe not the last one but you get the point – I LOVE LISTS! I probably have a list for all the lists I have. There is just something nice about seeing everything neatly lined up on a page, makes me feel all organized. Sometimes I don’t even write physical lists I just keep them in my head and strike things off once they are done. I’m good at keeping mental lists, things usually don’t escape me. But then sometimes they keep me up at night, which is not cool. And you know what’s good for keeping those physical lists too? Mac’s Stickies! Oh, that application is gold! I have 15 lists going as of now and it’s awesome! Now I just have to find time to get to all those things on all those lists… oooooooorganize! Tiiiiiiiiiiime management! says the lil’ voice in my head. Yeah yeah I know. But yet again, I’m making a different kind of list which I’d like to share. I figured I’ll make a list of all the things that I really DON’T WANT TO DO, and will try my hardest to do them. I figured that: a) what’s so bad in trying new things? Maybe I’ll actually enjoy them. It’s very highly doubtful that I will though. b) I can say that I tried and didn’t like it. Instead of just saying “I know I won’t like it”, c) I can blog about my miserable experience and provide some entertainment value, d) I just made another list! See how smooth I am.
So I’m making I REALLY DON’T WANT TO DO THIS list and to balance it out, I REALLY WANT TO DO THIS list as well. I’ll try my best to cross things off both. If you feel adventurous enough and are willing to torture me with things from my ‘hate list’, feel free to invite me to one of those things. The rule is, if someone asks me to do something on my ‘hate list’ I can’t say no. Just be warned that I will probably be grumpy about it. I’ll try my best to be a good sport, but chances are that I will really dislike the experience, so don’t take it personally. Also, if someone is feeling awesome and wants to do something off my ‘I’d Love to’ list I’d be more than happy to participate! That being said here is a start to both of my lists, which will get longer with time. Also I’m open to suggestions, especially if you know me well, feel free to contribute! These lists will be available under the ‘Info/about’ tabs once those are done.
